Participants felt big businesses could help to fund and develop community initiatives and opportunities for young people. Zurich and Amazon were highlighted as examples of big businesses that have invested in Swindon, through local community foundations. Participants questioned where the profits from other large organisations that employ "thousands” of Swindon residents are going.
