Description:

A participant reported that each local authority has a "tactical meeting" dedicated to the night-time economy, which involves partnering with taxi marshals and Pubwatch. The group tries to encourage collaborative working as they feel the responsibility to manage the night-time economy cannot fall to the police only and needs involvement from other relevant stakeholders.

Quotes from participants:

~ "...a tactical meeting for each local authority for night-time economy... partnership work with the taxi martials and the Pubwatch. The group is trying to bring the local authorities together with the police to … work together because… police can’t be the only people to manage the night-time economy, it needs everyone else..."
